Supporting Adult Health
The Angelina County & Cities Health District has been providing a medical safety net for the residents of Angelina County since 1987. ACCHD provides access to primary health care services for low- to moderate-income uninsured families residing in Angelina County. Medicaid services are provided for those residing in Angelina County and the surrounding area.

Health care services are provided directly by a qualified medical team or indirectly through a system of referrals within the local medical community for eligible low to moderate income families in Angelina County.

Services include diagnosis and treatment, prescriptions, referrals for special needs, laboratory, health risk assessments, health education, preventive health, and chronic disease management, and other services as needed.

Eligibility screening for programs include:

  • State and Local Primary Care Services
  • Medicaid
  • Title V for children
  • Healthy Texas Women
  • Family Planning
  • County Indigent Healthcare
  • Others as needed
