Prescription Assistance is available to all eligible patients of Angelina County & Cities Health District through a variety of pharmacy programs. Low-income and/or uninsured individuals and families who cannot afford prescriptions obtained from local emergency departments, and local hospitals or physicians may also be eligible for assistance.

The Health District Community Pharmaceutical Program has provided over 377,000 prescriptions since 2002 and facilitated in bringing in over $37 million in donated pharmaceuticals in the past 16 years, specifically designated for low income/non insured individuals.
