The Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs Program (CYSHCN) helps improve the health, well-being and quality of life for children 20 years of age and younger who have special health care needs. CYSHCN wants your child to build friendships, have success in the classroom, have opportunities to be included in the community and develop a sense of belonging. Focused on family-centered and community-based strategies, this program ensures families get services that honor and respect their cultural beliefs, traditions and values.
